GMB Designs Owner Gail M. Bantle, CID, is a seasoned
professional with over twenty-five years' experience in the world
of interior design. She holds a Certificate of Interior Design from
the Paier College of Art, and is a state-certified Interior Designer
in Connecticut. An advocate of using the latest design technology
available, Ms. Bantle has recently completed a six-week Advanced
Level Graphic Design coaching program with the Window Fashion Certified
Professionals, resulting in certification as a Studio Rendering
Authority.
After a twenty-year
tenure as Senior Interior Designer at the CIGNA Corporation, Gail
moved into the world of residential design, serving as Manager,
Buyer, and Design Consultant for the Marlborough Barn. During her
time at the Marlborough Barn, Ms. Bantle embraced the world of custom
window treatments and interior accents, implementing the latest
in design technology while actively researching the latest trends
in fabric styles and hardware design. She participated in several
company projects, including the design and furnishing of Riverpark
Crossing Adult Community in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, a complex of
fifty-four single family homes.
In addition,
Gail has been profiled as a Window Treatment Designer on Better
Connecticut, hosted by WFSB personality Scot Haney. In the
2007 television segment, Ms. Bantle demonstrated the latest in window
fashion trends and introduced the audience to the design technology
she utilized at the Marlborough Barn and continues to keep as a
vital part of her current work with GMB Designs.
